Our research
Our research focuses on the application of materials science in the biological sciences. We develop new materials that are used in medicine to improve procedures and people's lives.
We organise our research activities around four research themes and work in cross-disciplinary groups to develop novel materials and advance them up the technology readiness levels. This approach to research unifies our themes, and creates a coherent research community.
More information about our research themes and cross-cutting capabilities can be found through the pages below.
